Welcome to
PNW Child and Family Therapy
In person and online therapy for children, teens, and families specializing in neurodivergence, mood disorders, anxiety, and behavioral problems
Services offered
Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, teens, and adults. In our one-on-one sessions, I’ll support you in processing past and present experiences, identifying areas for growth, building effective coping skills, and more. My role is to support you in identifying and working towards your goals. $140/Hour
My Specialties
I do my best work with the following:
Supporting families in improving communication, strengthening bonds, and resolving conflict
Addressing behavioral issues in children and teens
Neurodivergence
Supporting families through separation, divorce, and blending
Parenting / Co-Parenting
Managing and reducing symptoms of mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma
Family Therapy
I offer family therapy for families in all shapes and forms. My role is to support your family in creating a system that works for everyone, and in building the tools to adjust that system as life changes. That process may include shifting the family structure, processing past family events, practicing effective communication, and more.
I welcome participation from all members of the family, especially when working with kids, adolescents, and teens. As I get to know you and your family, I can help identify what members would be helpful to include. Coming from a big family myself, I enjoy and welcome the chaos that can come with having multiple family members in a therapy session. $160/Hour
In Person and Telehealth
I offer both in person and telehealth services. I may encourage some clients to attend in person if telehealth is not a good fit. For example, young children often have a hard time engaging over telehealth.
About Me
Hi there! My name is Madison Parks (she/her) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate.
I grew up in Texas and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. In 2019, I moved to Washington State for graduate school and attended Antioch University in Seattle, where I completed my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023. Following graduation, I gained experience in community mental health before establishing my own private practice.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and includes a person-centered, strengths-based lens. I often utilize Structural Family Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, and Systems Theory. I also bring in skills and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as appropriate.
In my work I enjoy incorporating creative interventions such as art projects, games, and other ways to make the process of therapy more enjoyable and effective. This includes bringing experiential work into the therapeutic space such as practicing a new way of communicating with your family members.
My work is neurodiversity-affirming. I was diagnosed with Dyslexia as a child and remember how frustrating it was trying to operate within a system that was not built for my brain type. While I do not have your same lived experience of neurodivergence, I have an understanding of what its like to feel “othered” by the education and work systems. My personal experience and extensive training in neurodiversity have shaped my therapeutic approach with all clients.
I am also LGBTQIA+ affirming and have experience working with gender diverse clients. You are the expert on you and I will always honor that.
I am committed to being culturally responsive. I accomplish this by ensuring that my continuing education includes training on culture, race and ethnicity, and continuously evaluating my own biases and privilege.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services, including for behavioral or mental health.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your scheduled medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
